Liu Manwen was born in Heilongjiang province in 1962. He graduated from the department of oil painting of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 1982. Currently he is the professor of Haerbin Normal University, member of Chinese Artists Association, councilor of China Oil Painting Society, National First-class Artist.
